Rachel was born and raised in central Kansas, where she grew up playing basketball and volleyball. She attended Hutchinson Community College, where she received her PTA degree in 2018. Throughout her career, she has worked in outpatient, inpatient, swing bed, and acute therapy settings, and spent two years as a travel therapist before settling down in Wenatchee.

Outside of Biosports, she also works part-time as an EMT. In her free time she really enjoys hiking, paddle-boarding, mountain biking, reading a good book, traveling, or spending time with her dog, Flynn.
