Sports Biomechanics is the study of how the human body moves during physical activity, particularly in sports. It focuses on understanding the mechanical principles behind body movement and how they affect performance, injury prevention and rehabilitation.

By analyzing motion, forces, and mechanical systems, sports biomechanics helps optimize athletic performance while reducing the risk of injury. Many of our Clinicians have completed advanced training in the Gray Institute which allows us to understand gait, movement and athletic movement in ways that other therapists do not.

So whether you’re an elite athlete, or a recreational participant, understanding and optimizing biomechanics is crucial to performing at your best and staying injury free.
